You've received a link to register for a volunteer opportunity or saw a really awesome post on social media for a volunteer opportunity you wanted to participate in—now what? To get started, you need to set up an account on a site. Once you're done creating your member profile, you can start registering for volunteer opportunities that interest you! Here we cover:
How to register
One of the first things you see on an organization's site is a list of available volunteer opportunities! 1. If you received a link to an opportunity or clicked on a link from a shared social media post, you can get started by either clicking Register or Join!
2. Fill out the registration form and click Submit new account when you're ready!
3. Check the box to receive emails from the site and click Join site.
- Now, you can go ahead and start looking for volunteer opportunities to register for, or you can finish setting up your profile!
How to complete your profile
You can personalize your profile with an image, or Avatar, and update your information at anytime!
1. Click on your initials in the top right corner.
2. Select My account.
3. Now add an Avatar image or update your name and email if you'd like.
